Your Moments, bound as a book.
On your own Mac, read everything you have ever posted to WeChat Moments: text, photos, videos, likes and comments, all of it, at full resolution. Send it to your phone and it becomes a book you can leaf through.
The last three months are free. Needs an Apple Silicon Mac running macOS 26 or later.
Three steps
1Read on your Mac
Open Fish Tank. It runs the official WeChat client inside a sealed virtual machine. Scan the login code with your phone, and it leafs through your Moments back to the very first one, downloading the original photos and videos and retrying whatever fails.
2Scan with your phone
When it is done, a QR code appears on your Mac. Point your iPhone's camera at it: Those Moments opens by itself and, over the same Wi‑Fi, the whole book moves to your phone.
3Open your book
Today, Timeline, Look back, Search. Pages turn like paper. A widget for this day in past years, and for each day the photos you took and the weather that day. All on your phone, no network needed.
Your Moments stay with you
- No WeChat password is needed. You log in inside the official WeChat client, as on any new computer.
- Nothing is uploaded. Reading, sorting and sending happen between your Mac and your phone. This site only handles licences; it never sees your Moments.
- The book is an open format: text as JSON, photos and videos as the original files, on your own Mac, independent of WeChat and of us.
- When it is done, WeChat on the Mac is logged out and its login cache cleared.
